Lacrosse gilt als die schnellste Mannschaftssportart der Welt. Von den Ureinwohnern der Ostküste Nordamerikas erfunden, verbreitet sich die Sportart immer mehr über den ganzen Globus. Ziel des Spiels ist es, mit Hilfe eines Schlägers, an der sich eine Netztasche befindet, einen Ball in das Tor des gegnerischen Teams zu befördern. Gespielt wird dabei auf einem fußballfeldgroßen Platz.
Herrenlacrosse ist ein Vollkörperkontaktsport und beinhaltet Elemente vieler verschiedener Sportarten wie American Football, Eishockey, Basketball und Handball. Die Damenvariante ist weniger körperbetont, weshalb hier auf Schutzkleidung weitestgehend verzichtet wird.

Lacrosse is considered the fastest team sport in the world. Invented by the Indigenous peoples of the East Coast of North America, the sport is increasingly spreading across the globe. The objective of the game is to use a stick with a netted pocket to propel a ball into the opposing team's goal. It is played on a field roughly the size of a soccer pitch.
Men's lacrosse is a full-contact sport and incorporates elements from various sports such as American football, ice hockey, basketball, and handball. The women's version is less focused on physical contact, which is why protective gear is largely not used.
